Beginner Neuromodulator & Dermal Filler Course - RUMA Academy

BEGINNER DERMAL FILLER COURSE

With a Compact Nursing License or other UTAH license (PA, NP, or MD), providers can receive hands-on experience during this course. If you cannot get licensed in Utah, you are still welcome to attend this in-person training as an observer. This beginner dermal filler course is the entry to safely and effectively inject dermal fillers into the midface/cheek area and lips. Our experienced trainer will instruct providers on patient selection, anatomy, gel choice, various techniques, and complication management. Models for this training will be provided.

The second most requested non-surgical aesthetic procedure request is dermal fillers. Dermal fillers are a lucrative way to expand your knowledge and practice in aesthetic medicine. Soft tissue augmentation treatments have increased by 35% over the past five years. Patient satisfaction with dermal fillers is over 90% because the results are long-lasting and immediate. In addition, patients who receive Botox or neuromodulator injections are likely to request dermal filler injections.

Dermal fillers are safe, simple, and rewarding aesthetic procedures to bring into your practice. In addition, they can be easy to perform with the proper training. Fillers are used in softening facial features and giving patients a youthful appearance. You will be able to watch the trainer at Ruma as she concentrates on technique and how to evaluate the patient’s needs.

Beginner Dermal Filler Course will walk you through the consultation process, syringe conservation, and performing procedures for various facial areas. Ruma’s trainer will also review protocols, contraindications, complications, techniques, and other skills needed to inject dermal fillers.

After training, you should be able to:

  • Know the FDA approved dermal fillers
  • Understand the most common areas for injection using dermal fillers
  • Understand the techniques associated with dermal fillers
  • Avoid complications and manage adverse reactions
  • Understand the anatomy of the face
  • Know the protocols for injecting in different areas of the face,
  • Understand post-procedure protocols and touch-up advice for patients.
