INTERMEDIATE LOWER FACE/CHIN/JAWLINE COURSE

With a Compact Nursing License or other UTAH license (PA, NP, or MD), providers can receive hands-on experience during this course. If you cannot get licensed in Utah, you are still welcome to attend this in-person training as an observer. This intermediate lower face course will cover filler technique in the chin, pre-jowl sulcus, marionette lines, lower face, and jawline areas. Our experienced trainer will instruct providers on patient selection, anatomy, various techniques, and complication management. Models for this training will be provided.

Intermediate Lower Face/Chin/Jawline Curse is for competent injectors or those who have injection experience. In addition, the course is for injectors who want to increase their skills to include safe and effective facial contouring.

The objective of Ruma’s course is to give you knowledge of:

  • Anatomy and physiology of the chin, lower face, ad jawline
  • Explain how to assess a patient for lower face, chin, and jawline contouring
  • Know the proper injection techniques plus the proper products for chin and jawline shaping using dermal fillers
  • Learn normal side effects versus complications
  • Discuss how aging and genetics affect the anatomy and physiology of the lower face, chin, and jawline
  • Understand the clinical trials and indications for dermal fillers and neurotoxin products used for lower face contouring
  • Identify the risks associated with dermal fillers
  • Explain how to manage complications associated with the injection procedure
  • Be aware of difficult areas when injecting
  • Understand how to inject dermal fillers in the chin, lower face, and jaw.

Lower face, chin, and jawline fillers are comfortable, convenient, and cost-effective surgery alternatives. Patients request this type of contouring to help define their overall facial shape as they age. The chin is the front portion of your face and determines the lower face definition. Aging affects the chin, lower face, and jawline with fat loss and the possibility of a dimpled or “orange peel” looking skin.

Enhance your medspa practice by taking Ruma’s lower face, jaw, and chin sculpting course.
