7-9 hour day– Do you learn techniques better by observing? Would you like to see how things work at RUMA? Come shadow, Shelby! Our clinic days consist of a combination of fillers across the face, Sculptra, PDO threads, Kybella, PRP/PRF treatments, and Botox/Dysport. Considering clinic days are variable, we will try our best to accommodate your learning priorities during this time. Call in advance to discover what techniques you can learn more about by shadowing Shelby. Every day is different, and we will be happy to help you with the various treatments you can do in your practice.
Shadowing is learning or a type of on-the-job job training where you become familiar with a different technique. For example, learn from Shelby the various methods for aesthetic services and enhance your skills. For example, shadowing Shelby at Ruma will show you the proper techniques for different treatments like:
- Fillers are usually made from hyaluronic acid, a natural substance in our bodies. Fillers generally last about six months to a year and are perfectly safe when injected by a professional.
- Sculptra, which is an injectable poly-L-lactic acid used to restore the fullness in your cheeks,
- PDO threads are a non-surgical facelift that has little downtime,
- Kybella is an injectable that permanently removes fat cells under your chin.
- PRP/PRF is a complex technique with many different steps, including a medical blood draw and natural growth factors to enhance facials, microneedling, and hair regrowth.
- Before doing other injections, it is essential to know how to inject Botox/Dysport, and watching Shelby will give you good pointers and the proper way to administer these neurotoxins.
REQUIREMENTS:
• MUST HOLD RN OR ADVANCED MEDICAL DEGREE. Must have 6+ months experience injecting full time or 12+ months experience injecting part time.
• Shelby only consults on techniques and does NOT provide any type of certification.
